Syntesized digital AM/FM tuners die

I have a 14,000 sq ft building that I provide background music for. The synthesizer AM/FM tuner I use keeps dying. The tuner feeds into a PEAVEY MMA 8150T 8 ch. modular mixer/amplifier.

The first tuner I had was a TOA DT-930. It lasted about a year then quit. Here is the odd part. The radio is locked in a standard 19" equipment rack and stays on 103.5FM. The tuners internal time is set to turn on the tuner from 6:00am to 6:00pm. After a year. 103.5 would only produce static, but any other channel would work just fine. Let the unit set turned off for a day, and it is fine for about 5 hours, then static again.

I replaced the tuner with a new identical unit. Same thing happened.

Then I bought a PYLE PRO PT504 tuner, set the timer, it last about 2 months, same thing happened.

Then I borrowed a MARANTZ SR7400 tuner, same thing happened after a month.

I put one of the TOAs back in the cabinet and it worked for a month, then static.

We did the simple things like check to make sure the station was broadcasting by listening to a car radio. We don't feel it is a thermal issue as the units are only warm to the touch.

Any ideas as to what is going on here?

Thanks.
