First here is my setup. Samsung LN46a630 LCD, Integra 7.3 100w per channel, Front Klipsch rf82, Center RC62 I think, subs 2 RW10's, surrounds RB 15. Recently I had to switch my living room due to a new addition to the family. The first living room was part of a new addition, and was much larger. 20' by 12' or so, and hardwood. The new living room is smaller 15' by 9'. The house was built in the 40's. So the new living room is in the older part of the house. The room acoustically doesn't sound as good. The bass is much louder, but doesn't sound as crisp. The bass is a little muddy. I want to to be able to turn up the volume as loud as before with it not sounding muddy, but take advantage of the much louder bass considering I like alot of bass in my music. I was thinking the most cost effective way would be to use acoustic panels, but I am going to re do all of the walls, so I thought I could cover the main wall of my setup with dynomat then cover that with 1/4 inch drywall. That would certainly cost more. Right now both my subs are right next to each other on the right side of my TV. In both rooms they seem to sound way better side bt side. What do you experts think I should do. Practical and under $600
