Switched plug on Onkyo 805

Is there a button or some way to reset the switched plug in my Onkyo 805?
I have this weird thing where the switched plug works for a while and then it isn't switched anymore. It is on all the time. Anyone else experience this?

There is no other alternative.

The AC outlet (switched) on the back of your 805 is ON, when your receiver is turn ON (Standby).
And it is OFF, when your receiver is turn OFF.
-> There is no such button, or way to reset the AC outlet to another mode (unswitched).

* See page 42, at the bottom, in your 805's manual.

** If your 805 is acting differently than the above, you then have an issue.
And that will be the very first time I've seen this acting abnormally. ...Seems very unlikely.

I don't know if this would cause it, but perhaps the switched outlet stays hot if you have one of the zones turned on?

This reminds me, the plug on my 876 was staying on (had a small fan using it) and that's what the problem turned out to be, I inadvertently turned on zone 2.
