swisstech 20.1" LCD TV/MONITOR

Hi, my LCD disply has sudenly started playing up,it goes straight to standby when I switch it on. The shop where I bought it has ceased trading the guarantee was lost in our move and trying to find the makers of the swisstech SKY Model LCD-20 is virtually imposible.Please help somebody, I have a basic knowledge of PC Repair,and laptops but I had diagnostics software for this. So I may be able to fix it myself if its nothing to serious! Thanks in advance!

If it is a computer setup it could be your video card or board. Do you have a way of checking the display with another source other than the computer.

Hi thanks for the speedy response, but sadly no its not conected to any thing, if i try a scart input from x box or Pc input it makes no differance! still goes straight to standby!any idea?
