All I just recieved my new Swans. :) I have only had them for a few hours now and so far love them. The build quality is unbelievable they look nicer than most speakers out there in the $2000 range. So far I have listened to only a few tracks, some John Mayer, Sara McLachlan, Kid Rock, Sean Kingston, Snow Patrol, so I hit them with a good variety of music. They really put out a large sound field. What I was really surprised by was the low end the dual 5 1/4" drivers really do well on the bass. Here are some pics. I will add some sounds qulaity posts as I get some more time listen to these. Right now my first impression is WOW. I think these may come close to out performing my MB Quart QLS 1030's. (Although I think my Quarts need more power to sing to their true potential) I tried to post the pictures directly, but it told me my files size was to large for each pic. Here is link. If anybody has any suggestions on how to post them directly to this post please help and I will repost.

the swans I used in my listening comparison test I posted last week, against some scanspeak bookshelves were unbelievable.

Even for a single 5" driver they played low end VERY well. I couldn't believe it.

I've already talked with my local builder and have commited to swans for my HT. ;)

good choice!

If you don't want to sign up for something you could use Picamatic as well.

I'm looking forward to your impresions as well. I've always found Swans speakers to be compelling. You never hear that much about them, but the little you do hear is always good.

I'd love a review as I'm considering these too.

I've had these same speakers for almost a year now...and I love them.

Unfortunately, I need to sell mine (new baby is getting mobile and I don't want speakers on the floor anymore). I live in Yorktown, we could have hooked up for a deal...oh well.

Anyway, glad you are enjoying your purchase. Great bang-for-the-buck speaker. I will miss mine!

They sound very nice indeed. I'm anxious to see pics. I'd love to have a dedicated listening room sometime and get some sweet speakers like these, but I'm lucky to have a dedicated theater as it is...

mperfct - I put a link in to some pics on snapfish, are those not viewable to everyone else? If so I will repost the pics.

Thanks

Jeff

I could be acting as an idiot, but that link takes me to my gallery on snapfish. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'll tinker with it later...

I can't see the snapfish pics either. I can't remember my log in for them so I just get the home page. photobucket is what I use.
