I am interested in buying Swan speakers.Tried looking on some websites but none of them deliver to Europe.

I live in Malta and have a budget of around 300 Euro.

Can you suggest any retailers/websites audioholics?

Thanks,
Rycon

Swans are made by Chinese HiVi company - Most of their product are knockoffs of bigger brands. Some copies are good, some not.
About local dealers - I really have no clue. Do your homework and search around for local stereo stores. Bring with you your favorite music cds and ask them to play them.
300 eu for pair of speakers? What about amp/receiver?

I don't really need an amp if I buy active speakers right?

Do you think that 300Eu is low budget wise?

I'm going to search some local websites see what I can find and post them here.

Correct - you don't need amp for powered speaker. As I learned - no all self-powered Speaker are truly active (ie. have active x-over and dedicated amp for each woofer & tweeter)

What'll be the your use for these speaker?

Use will be music/VoIP/movies

Not that important:House parties/Gaming

I found a retailer selling the swan M200MK11 for 385Euro including shipping which is expensive.

Not sure if I will buy the swan MK11 or buy locally and go for something JBL/B&W with an amp.

On a lower budget
Behringer TRUTH B1030A , still made in China, but at-least design in Germany :D

For parties - None of desktop speaker or studio monitors will do, you must step up to separates speaker/amp
