Looking to finally get some speakers for my apartment for music. It's a very small living room prob 15'x15'. The only system I've ever owned is a set of logitech z-680 5.1 back a few years ago. I liked the bass but now I have neighbors. I was originally just going to order some logi z-2300's and be done with it but I figure you guys could help me get the best bang for my buck.

Did some quick searching to not be completely ignorant, and found that the Swan M-200 is a popular choice? Is the MKIII out yet? Where are good online places to buy these, I can't seem to find many stores. Any suggestions other than these speakers that I might like? If I were to add a sub to them in the future, any suggestions for that?

Thanks for your input and time.

how comparable are they to the d1080? I wasn't aware they were that much more expensive. Any suggestions on a sub to pair with them?

You can use any sub you want. You might want one that has RCA ins and outs, to use the sub’s internal crossover. I run my M200s full range, as they naturally roll out at about the place you’d want a sub to take over.

As an owner of MkIII Swan speakers they are worth every penny. I've had them since November and you probably won't need a sub, I use them for computer speakers and they are a blast for gaming, music, movies. Big speakers so make sure you have room for them.

I actually went for the d1080 and they're great for my little house. I have at least 3 more years here so I'll look into getting these m200's when I move out. Any plans for mkiv??
