So I'm putting together a 5.1 setup. I don't have unlimited funds so I have decided that it would be smart to start smaller with hi-end and build up as I get the dough. That being said I really really love:cool: the look of the Swan Diva 6.1's with the matching center speaker. Does anyone have insight or experience with these bad boys? Since I can't audition them I have found a place that can give me a 30 day test period and the worst thing that would happen would be i have to ship them back. But if anyone has any opinions or comments that would really help me out. :D:D

Thanks,

Andrew

I have them in a 2ch setup that gets used as my primary TV setup as well. They are solid.

Make sure you like the top mounted tweeter. They are also pretty tall, so be aware of the dimensions.

I have tried to audition my way into owning something different, but it hasn't happened. I have Vandersteen 1bs and a big sub in my HT setup. The swans sound just as good, perhaps a little more natural, and perhaps a little more bright - not in a bad way. Cymbals sound realistic, not surpressed.

I've got the 6.1's, C3 and R3's. They sound fantastic to me. I use them for both music and HT. The rosewood looks very nice...no complaints here. I've had the system for about a year and a half now. I have a PB13 that handles the low stuff.
