SVS Ultra Tower package... What receiver should I get?

Hey guys, i'm just ordering the SVS ultra tower package and have never really had a decent home theater setup before. I'm looking for some suggestions on a receiver that will be ideal for these speakers? I will probably be getting an SVS sub in the near future as well... Price range is anything under $1500, I was looking at the Denon AVR-X4000 but don't really understand all of the amp output/THD stuff yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

What features are you looking for? I would get the most affordable unit that has all the features you need, if you dont need preouts and networking and 3d and all that stuff then dont buy one that does that.... This is about the most I would spend

How big is your room and how far away do you sit? They are 8 Ohms and 88dB sensitive, so I probably wouldn't go too slim on the power. The X-4000 and the Marantz should both be adequate, but it depends on the answers to those questions and how loud you expect to listen.

Thanks for the response... I don't need a ton of features, looking at the Marantz now it seems to have everything that I would use. The main question is the power, I would like to be able to blast these things and not worry about the receiver not having the power to supply. The room I am in is about 30 feet by 15 feet, straight rectangle. And do you think dual subs is going to make a difference worth that much extra money in this size space?
