Well, it didn't arrive instantaneously, so it seemed like it took forever :p ...

In fact, I ordered a 20-39 and it arrived within a week - June 29th order date, delivery July 6th. If I surmise correctly that you are in Connecticut, as I am (Mystic), then I'd assume a similar period (given that there are PB10's built and ready to go).

Man, are you going to have a smile on your face! If you're taking that thing up a flight of stairs, I hope it's either a short flight or that you're a burly specimen. :)

Cheers,

I live about 800 miles from their facility, and it took less than a week.

Shipping is anywhere from 2 days, to a week in most cases. Well worth the wait.
It's not that heavy that you can't carry it. If someone can help you that would be better.

wow... um. it IS kinda heavy, and VERY bulky. It will be difficult, I believe for 1 person to carry (push?) it up a flight of stairs. And depending on how wide the staircase is (if it's a smaller one up to a smaller apartment) you might not be able to with it in the box.

Depending on your staircase, it might be easier to bring it up out of it's box. Either way, I think you would want an extra pair of hands.

mine took pretty much no time at all, perhaps a week?

Weight isn't so much the problem as is the size. It is a bit awkward for one person to carry up stairs. I had to have someone give me a hand carrying mine up 3 flights. Mine took a little over a week and I am pretty far from them.

Nut,

I thought you lived in Buckeye Nation (Ohio). 800 miles is a far cry from the Horseshoe.

Buckeye Nation is a state of mind, and it can be found anywhere in the known universe.

I am a Columbus native, but have since moved elsewhere.

If I remember right it took less than a week and the boxed weight was 75 lbs. I love the sub and didn't realize what I was missing. Enjoy.

I received my PB10 today. It is a little bigger than I expected when it's sitting right in front of me, and this is coming from an SVS cylinder owner. You should have heard the UPS guy unloading it from his truck:D Let's just say he woke me up. Once it's out of the box it's not to hard to deal with. I carried it upstairs by myself without any problems. But if you have to carry it upstairs while still in it's double box, you are going to need some help.

The finish on it is very nice. The grill looks really good with the rounded edges, and the driver itself is extremely attractive with a sunken flush mounting and nice thick rubber surround.

I'll be a happy camper until the new ultra driver is released:eek:

Theres a new Ultra driver in the wings? The SVS site only mentions a Plus 12.3, nothing in the "TV-12 Ultra" series woofers.

Yes, speculated to be released around the new year. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

When I got my SVS, I went down to the the local yellow freight terminal to pick it up myself.

After checking my tracking, I learned that it was just sitting there at the local terminal waiting for a monday delivery. It was a friday afternoon, and I could either go pick it up myself, or wait for monday........ so obviously......the decision for me to pick the PB12-Plus/2 was a no brainer because I wanted it "NOW" for friday night festivities.

They loaded the huge 160-170lbs box & pallet in the back of my SUV. Once I got it home, I managed to unload from the SUV and unpack it in the garage, take it up three steps into the house, and down a flight of stairs into my HT without assistance. LOL

It wasnt really that difficult if you work 'smartly', but I will admit to working up a nice sweat during the process. Hmmmmmmm.... the beer never tasted so good on that friday night!!

Congratulations on the new sub. Excellent choice. Keep up posted with a review. Try "War of the Worlds" scene 5. :D :D
