SVS phasing out PB12-Plus/2 and NSD/2

According to a newsletter sent out to customers, they're phasing them out, but will continue to stock parts.

I wonder what they will be getting replaced by? I skimmed over the newsletter this morning when I got the email, but don't recall them saying what they had coming. I would love to have upgraded my current sub to a piano black PB12 Plus/2, but they are out of stock.

They are talking about making a dual driver version of the new ultra, so I don't know.

They do have a dual driver lined up for the Ultra13... it will be a vertical unit along the lines of the Gotham...

I asked SVS about this awhile back... when the Ultra was still in Preorder.

I'd bet they'll be coming out with a 13" version of the plus to match the size of the ultra. That way they can use one cabinet for both the plus and ultra -- less SKU's = lower cost.

didn't think about that... that would be awesome. I would love to have more bass, but my current svs is just so awesome. I've kinda thought about selling it someday and replacing it with a Def Tech Trinity, but not sure it would be worth the money... especially since the Ultra is less money, and by the time I have enough for either one of those, the Ultra/2 will probably be out, and still cost less than a Trinity.
