Well as some of you know, a few months ago I was looking for a sub. I was deciding between the two listed above in the title. In the end I went with the Ultra and have been extremely satisfied. I don't think its possible to be more satisfied. However, since this was my first real sub I had little to compare it to. Until this past weekend, when my friend got the 20-39 PC-Plus. I think now I can truly appreciate what an incredible sub the Ultra is. Don't get me wrong, the 20-39 sounds great, but the difference between the two is great. On the 20-39, when the bass gets deep and loud, you can really "hear the sub working". Where as with the Ultra I don't think I've caused the sub to work even close to that hard. It just belts out those low frequencies with no problem, giving me full appreciation for the term "headroom". Needless to say, while my friends sub does sound great, I sure feel as if I made the right choice with the Ultra. Oh and btw, I am selling my klipsch mains. Thinking about going with the Axiom M60s, what do yall think?
