Im thinking that you would get a better product with the SVS as the Velo your asking about is one of their lower end products...

JMO....

What is your budget here.... ?

What is the designation for the product... movies or music or mix...

my budget is probably 600 at the most for the sub because im on a budget...cant go too much higher than that....i originally was going to buy the Polk Audio 505 but saw many people talking about SVS and praising their products so i took a look at them....well my main things im going to do with them are mixed, both movies and music....

How about neither? With your $600 budget:

Try the Elemental Designs 15" sub the A5-350 $600 shipped. Why limit yourself?

Go for the SVS, it will destroy the Velodyne.

Hey.... jinjuku is right on track... That ED-15" sub has gotten amazing reviews.... its supposed to be an amazing sub for the $$$$

But the wait time is a little long... a month, but plenty of people have had orders in on the new SVS-Ultra for 8 months and are just getting their product now...
