No mortgage this month cause of refi so I was able to pay off my speakers...
Old sub listed on craigslist...
New SVS SB2000 is on the way. Will give my impressions when it arrives...
Hopefully this is the end of my audio spending for a few years. I may have to stop reading the boards. :p

Congratulations! I also own this sub and I really like its sound. It has a very good low end extension for its size. In my rather large room I saw it play as low as 14 Hz.

Where is the sub??

Aesthetically this sub is exactly what I was looking for. I still have lots of placement to experiment with, then I have to make wires disappear, but given a long enough wire I could place this in any number of areas and easily conceal it. I haven't had a lot of time to test its sonic capabilities yet but so far I am very pleased. I am happy I went with the SB2000 over the older model SB12 because while it gets as loud as I want, I think my room size may be around its limit. I tested it with a few scenes from Star Trek and The Avengers last night and while I'm not blown away and overwhelmed... I wasn't looking for blown away and overwhelmed. It strikes me as polite, accurate, and extremely responsive... Have a lot more listening to do, but so far I am very happy. Will post more later.
