Sonicboomaudio is selling the 20-39 for $749can and 20-39+ for $1049. It's a $300 difference. Any advice?

The plus series is a great sub....

The performance difference is worth the extry money, Better driver, and much larger amp, that impact will be signifcant.....

the Plus line is a great value... If you are coming from a lesser grade sub, you will not be sorry one bit...

Depending on your room size and listening volume of course...

One word: YES. The Plus has a considerable amount more output than a regular NSD. In particular, if you have a larger room, you will want the Plus, but for a $300 difference, I'd still go for the Plus.

I have the 25-31 plus and decided to go with it instead of the PCi due to having a huge room. SVS recommeded the one you are considering, but my wife didn't like the increased height:mad: I have about 4000 sq ft. I plan to post my impressions when I get it hooked up.
Unfortunately, it is sitting in a box until the carpet goes down in the rec room on the 23rd:(

If the extra $300 wont break you, then yes...... spend the extra $300 and buy the more capable sub:)

You'll have no regrets...

HEH.... I just bought a Plus/2 at Christmas, and I don't really have the extra money, but with the discount on the Gloss Black I was thinking I might just buy a PB12-Plus for my future bedroom setup... Hmmmm

Makes one think...

And worse yet, there is a Gloss Black Plus/2 on B-Stock for $1149.

But I really want to try out the 12hz extension on the Plus... in a small room..
That would really add to the shaking of my bed... !!!! :)

Oh the senseless spending goes on... :)

If money is no object and the budget is flush...absolutley go with the Plus. However, if you're on a budget (like me  ) just know that the PCi can more than adequately handle most average rooms. A great deal depends on the space you're trying to fill. If you've got 3000+cubic feet, then, yeah, you need the Plus...or shoot the moon and hold out for the new Ultra! :D However, if you're only trying to fill one or two thousand feet and the budget is tight, the PCi will rock your world without issue! :D
