Surround Speaker angles in Wide Room

Hi,

I am getting a 5.1 HTIB and I am a bit confused about what angle the surround speakers should be. I know its meant to be 90 to 110 degrees, but with this in my bedroom where the system is going, I don't think I can do this. If you look at the floor plan of my room, I can't put them to the side of my chair because of the cupboards, and at 110 I would have to put them right in the corner which is againb not possible. What angles should I use or should I just point them at where my head will be?

Basically, you will have to try out a few scenarios until you find what works. The recommended setups are just that - guidelines as they cannot account for the size, shape and seating position of every room. The angle isn't what matters, how it sounds is. You should be able to find something that sounds right for you with some experimentation.
