Surround rear advice

Hello All,
Yes Im a newbie and this is my first post. Ive done a little looking around and I havent found info on what I need, so if its out there you can point me in that direction.

1st Ill tell you what I have. Yammie RX-V2500 and Infinity Speakers (I know they arent up with what most people on the board have) Primus 360's front, 150's rears, C25 center and PS12 sub. Everything else I need for video and sound.

Problem- I have a room that is really inadequate for HT. My living flows into the dinning room and thus does not allow for me to move the 150's up to add two rear surrounds. So Im looking at going to 6.1 for now. I say for now because Im planning on building in the near future and will build to accomodate. So Im looking for a speaker that I can add in the rear. My loveseat backs against the rear wall so it's not going to be the most ideal setup. I had a regular bookshelf speaker from my old surround system that I would setup when we would watch movies and you could really hear the difference. (I move the love seat forward for this) What recommendations do you have for a new rear ceter surround that could complement the system that I have now? I dont want to blow the bank on this because of what I want to do in the future but would really like to add something right now. Thanks

just get one more Primus 150. that will keep you matched and balanced across the back, giving you an even flow of motion.

That was 1st thought. However, when I bought my receiver the salesman was insistent I go with dipole surrounds. So I figured before I jump off the deep end I'd check it out here. (since this is the place that convinced me to go with the Yamaha) The place I bought it has an excellent rep and I trust them but I always prefer to do some homework and get opinions. I dont want to go with their brands just because that is all they sell. I want to test the waters. Make sense?

You could always leave the 150's where they are at as rear surrounds and buy a set of Inifnity Outrigger Jr's to put as side surrounds. They are intended as outdoor speakers, but make a very usable ceiling or wall-mounted surround. A second option would be the Infinity OWS-series on-walls you could plant pretty much anywhere for mid-surrounds. My local Circuit City has them for $ 115 each a couple of days ago.

Bipole and dipole speakers can get to be a little TOO much science, since one works great for HT but lousy for music while the other is wonderful for music but sucks for HT. Even the switchable ones can be a pain, since the receiver won't switch them automatically. If you are going to be dedicated one way or the other, then by all means jump right in, but if you need some flexibility, standard speakers are the way to go.

That's the kind of info you dont get at the store! We watch a lot of DVD movies, play a lot of music and have a lot of music DVDs. So, no I wont be dedicated either way.

Im thinking I might go with another pair of 150's. I can find an optimum spot for them to play and mark it. Set them up and calibrate everything. Then when not in use tuck them back behind the end tables. Not the fanciest way of doing things but I guess it will work till I build the new house. As long I remember to put them away when Im done I can probably even get it past the wife.
