Supercube ii making crakeling sound.

Was needing some help with my supercube ii. When action gets intense the 8" woofer makes a crakeling sound. I assume it might be blown. I was wanting to replace the 8" woofer but the sub has been discontinued. Any recommendation other than get a new sub which I really don't want to do currently.

Is it being driven at high levels? Did this just start to happen recently? There are so much better subs than that out there (it's more a bass module than a sub), might be time to upgrade....

If your subercube can't be fixed with a simple tweak then I recommend getting one of these for the price of a replacement driver
