Suggestions for replacement drivers for Boston acoustics cr9

Hi, I have some Boston cr9's That I picked up. Only one cabinet has original drivers and I would like some suggestions for replacement drivers for it.

You wish to replace the drivers in both cabinets? If so, Madisound, Parts-Express, Meniscus Audio and Solen.ca all have kits that possibly could fit into the cabinets. You might have to do some work on the baffles to accept the new speakers though.

Are those Boston Acoustics cabinets sealed? That would easier to work on than on vented boxes. In any case, I suggest that you explain the situation to the people you speak to or email to, so that the drivers which they would sell you are compatible with the size of the cabinets.

No they are not.

The cabinets have a 2" port with flares on each end. The drivers are a 8" woofer and 1" tweeter which I'm pretty sure is a soft dome.
