Suggested Speakers Setup for Denon 3805?

Hi

I just bought the Denon 3805 AV Receiver whilst overseas. This is my first AV Receiver so I do not have any existing speakers. I am hoping someone can provide some suggestions/recommendations on a suitable speakers setup for this receiver. I do have a budget, so will most likely buy a pair of floor standing speakers to start with, plus either a Centre Speaker or a Subwoofer.
Since budget is a constraint and I prefer to build on the system, is it better to start with a pair of floor standing front speakers with a subwoofer or a centre speaker? I will use the system for HT 60% and 40% music.

Any suggestion is appreciated. ^_^

Thanks all
sschen

Since you so strongly stress you are on a budget, I'm surprised you didn't share what it is. It's kinda hard to come off with any meaningful answers without that info.

I just purchased the Denon 3805. I pruchased the Axiom speakers except for the sub:
M60ti's for the main
VP 150 doe the center
QS8's for the surround
I did not get their sub, instead SVS PBI
Since the Denon is 7.1, I'm using some speakers in the ceiling that were there when I purchased. I have 12 ft ceilings and I'll probably upgrade. But you could get 4 QS8's.

Their web site is axiomaudio.com

Look at the Epic 60 setup.

LOL.....I just bought exactly what you did today except I got the SVS PB2 Sub. I had a really hard time trying to decide between the m80ti's and the m60ti's.......Do you already have it all set up? How does the 3805 push them good? Another good thing is that you have a 30 day trial with Axiom.

I can't say enough. It's awesome. I even switched around my old speakers and the old receiver. The Denon make my old speakers sound better, but nothing like the Axiom's.

I forgot to add that I was concerned about the Denon pushing the 4 ohm M80's. Everything I've read says it is not a problem, but decided to go with the 8 ohm M60's anyway. And they are more than enough.

Cool I was worried that they would not be enough. I have DCM KX12 speakers and they are fairly decent for a low cost speaker and they can pump, cant wait to compare.
