Okay i have a 7 year old JBL 10" 100 watt sub and it works fine for now. Would there be any more of an advantage to get a better sub of around the same size. I was planning on getting an SVS 20-39pci but im living in a 10x10 room in an apartment and think ill get complaints with the SVS. So would it be worth it to getting a higher quality 10" sub??

Nocondorfx, if your JBL sub is fine for now, then leave it be. "If it aint broke, don't fix it."

The only time you should even think of replacing a component is when you know it needs improvement in a specific way. Save your cash-ola, for everything you don't get, there are usually 10 things you want to get.
