Hi, I'm new to this forum thing, need opinions on which subwoofer to purchase. My choices are Velodyne spl1200 II, svs pb2-isd, or hsu vtf-3 mk2. I listened to Velodyne at local store and it was pretty amazing. Unfortunately, can't listen to other two. Any help would be appreciated.

Since you mentioned the spl1200 II, try out the paradigm siesmic 12. They are both fairly expensive, have huge power, high excursion 12 inch woofers, and they both take up very little space. The siesmic 12 has a more radical design to it that from what people are saying will no doubt impress you.
