subwoofer recommendation

hello, 2nd post here...i'm looking to get a cherry subwoofer to go w/ my cherry polk RTi8/RTi4/CSi3 setup...the room size is roughly 22'x13'x9'...my budget is around $1000...i'm not an audiophile per se & the s/w will be most for home theatre use w/ some music...i'm living in an apartment complex which has carpeted floors/chipped concrete & i'm not looking to tick off neighbors! just want to fill the room w/ good bass!

any suggestions?

btw, what do you all think of the Polk PSW1000 for my needs?

You might want to look at AV123 MWF-15 as it is available in a Cherry veneer. One of those will look nice and I believe give you the performance your looking for....and come in well under your budget.
