Subwoofer Question

I intend to buy a speaker selector box to pump music throughout other rooms in my house. The receiver I'm leaning towards purchasing is a Yamaha V1700. Here's my question.....is there a way to connect additional subwoofers as well as additional speakers? Any help is appreciated.

Yes you can & its as simple as pie

Most powered subs have speaker terminals on the back of them that can be used for what you want to do,you simply run the wires from your reciever into the speaker selector then from the selector into the sub,your speakers will then need to be hooked up to the back of the sub in the spots marked speaker out.
