I've seen this in quite a few setups where people have their subs directly below their LR mains. I'm guessing in most rooms this isn't ideal for the best coverage but.......Could you then cross much higher for that midbass authority and, perhaps later down the line, put 1 or 2 more in the rear to even the bass response out? Just wondering if people like to cross their subs higher than the usual 80hz.
