I know this is not home theater but i was hopping some out there could help me out. I just bought a truck and it has a Pioneer DEH-245 model head unit and i want to put in some subs and was wondering if anyone could help me find out if i do or where there is a place that could tell me. Thanks

If there isn't a dedicated pre-out for a subwoofer, you can always run the L&R pre-outs to a subwoofer amp. Or, if you like, get an amp with high-level inputs and run the speaker cable from the nearest L&R speakers to the amp, then out the the speakers.

or if your receiver doesnt have Hi-level inputs, and your head unit doesnt have pre-outs, you can buy a hi-level (speaker level) to pre out converter, they run about 30 bucks or so. Run your speaker wires to the converter then run the converted pre outs to the amp with an rca cable

The HU has what's call "Non Fading outs". That's what you'll run to you sub amp.
