You mean the stuff that goes between the speaker itself and the enclosure? That's a sealing gasket, which helps make an airtight seal between the driver and the box. You can buy a roll here:
Speaker Gasketing Tape 1/8" x 1/2" x 50 ft. Roll 260-542

An alternative is to go to Home Depot and pick up some rope caulk for about $5.

No i think hes talking about the the foam that sets on TOP of the surround material. Its not behind the speaker but actually visible when the sub is installed in the enclosure.

Sorry i dont k ow what its called but i would call a subwoofer company such as SVS or HSU. Their customer service answers the phone very quickly & they could help you out!

Foam that sits on top of the surround? The foam is the surround; there's nothing else on top of it. He said "around the screws."

I guess i don't know what he's talking about. A picture would be immensely helpful.

That's interesting. I've never seen that on a sub before. I can't imagine it has any sonic purpose. Probably just to protect the surround from bumps?

It looks intact. I'd just glue it back down.

That is the gasket material that comes attached to EVERY stamped frame speaker. It is for the purpose of REAR mounting the speaker, but is seldom used since most speakers are mounted from the front.
