So i have a denon 8500h. I have run audyssey and then i went to REW and sound that back sub was set to 6ft longer than the actual. So I got a flatter curve with the exact distance...So should i put the distance to actual or keep the audyssey distance?

Keep the Audyssey distance. The sub probably has some DSP latency that Audyssey is reading as distance. Functionally they are the same, so Audyssey is handling the situation correctly.

I second what ShadyJ said, Audyssey is choosing the distance based on any DSP delay and in turn adding distance for the correct phase & time alignment. I run 4 subs through a MiniDSP 2/4HD and all 4 subs are 9’ from my MLP but Audyssey XT32 sets them at 15.4’, when I go to REW and check my phase and time alignment they’re already set at the correct distance. It actually does this fairly well as I’ve added additional delay via the MiniDSP and each time Audyssey will in turn add additional psychical distance when I run it through the Multi EQ app.
