Thanks for your replies regarding monster cable. Do I need to have specialty wire for the subwoofer? I hear about feedback etc. Is 12 gauge wire from cobalt, blue jeans or king sufficient, and does it need any special type of jacket?

Thanks,

are you running a speaker level output to the sub ? if you are sending the LFE signal, get one of these while you are ordering your Sound King wire:

all you really need is a decently-shielded 75 ohm wire with male RCA jacks on either end. your local Radio Shack is also a good source.

the only reason I recommend the cable above is that in my limited experience with subs, they seem to work better with a signal feed into both the L and R inputs.

That's very true of Klipsch subs. They even tell you that in the manual.

Also Radio Shack can provide a "Y" adapter that works fine.
