SubSonic 6i Makes a Weird Noise

Hey Gang, I have a question my sub has been making this noise it sounds like a sub that has been put in a trunk of a car and the trunk lid has that awful rattling noise when they don't use Dynamat for the lid. I was wondering if this is normal? Also I noticed that air is not coming out of the port any suggestions on what might have happened here and how to fix these issues

Sounds like you blew the sub. Basically, that sound is called "bottoming out". Its a loud clicking sound, and its definitely not good.

I haven't heard a clicking, the sound is more like when windows rattle from heavy bass music.

Are you sure its from the sub and not from something being rattled by the bass? Do you have small children? If so, may something was inserted into one of the ports.. If its none of the above, I woould think that the sub is damaged.

It was a rattle, I called S.A. and told them what was happening and they said to bring it in, which I did yesterday come to find out that there was a few screws that were loose connecting the driver to the box. I was still under warranty so they just gave a new sub, so no more rattle.
