I do some average stereo systems for my buddies.but I want know what u guys would think about 4 or 6 kicker comp 12s in a explorer if it would be like house shaking and also would it be better to add something to my already sub I have a Rockford fostgate 12 inch t2 if I built a better box for it it's in a shitty box right now but how big of a box should I build for it thanks everybody

adding more speakers or a bigger box is not always the right way to do it,the box/amp/proper gauge wiring/mounting/battery/alternator all need to be set up & installed correctly.

the box or boxes need to be built specifically for each speaker to get the best sound.

lol first of all, home audio is nothing like car audio. You dont need 50 subs and 50k wrms to get thunderous lows..

Check out DIYMA.com, they are more geared toward these type of builds. In short, you can run mobile subs in the house, they will not need as much power, and you still need to properly calculate your ohms.
