after getting help on acoustics a few weeks back.
Now i have a question for sub woofer geeks. I have a hsu vtf-1 in between the left speaker and the entertainment stand. I did some bas test tones from hsu cd and their subwoofer spreadsheet. I follow the instructions etc,and this is what i came up with at the end.
40hz 80 db at listening position
50hz 70 db
63hz 65 db
80hz 82 db.
Not bad for 10" sub. But what do you guy's think about the 63 hz? I kinda want to get that a higher db reading. And i'v seen bass traps and they do look ugly. On hsu forums,some one else had that issue, and pete said that's normal to have a dips on 63 hz. how can i improve it ?
