Sub with my Time windows

Howdy! I'm a newby, so excuse my lack of protocol. I have an older but very clean stereo receiver-Kenwood 7050. I bought it in 1980. It produces 80 watts RMS with .02 THD. My newly acquired speakers are DCM time windows. They are probably 15 to 25 years old. Each has 2, 6" woofers and 2 tweeters. They have a very good sound but lack a little at the lower HZ. Costco sells an 8" Velodyne 350 W sub for 139.00. If I run Speaker wires from the time windows to the sub teminals, and then from the sub to the receiver, would there be any interference between the woofers and the sub? Or, will I just get a stronger bass(depending on the subs volume level).
Thanks for your help, Chuck

Most subs, when connected in the manner you describe, will block the lows that the sub handles from going to tha mains. This is a good thing. This will add to the bottom end of your system, both in quality and quantity, and free up your mains to handle the upper bass on up.
