Sub with 1 audio input

Hey I have this sub it was given to me, it has one audio input, and I was wanting to connect it up to the tv, my partner has tried everything. And still can't figure it out. Help please I don't know the brand or anything, it just has base written on the front. Thanks

Just connect the green cable to the port near the middle....

What does the audio input look like? Is it an RCA connection or does it take speaker wires? Also, does the sub have a power cord?

At the least, provide the brand and model of the television. If you really can't find ANYTHING on the subwoofer except "bass". Take a few pictures of it and upload them somewhere so we can see what you have there. Be sure at least one picture shows the "input" on the subwoofer.
