Sub Volume

I have a def-tech powered sub. Should I run the volume on full at the sub and do all controlling from my a/v receiver? - Thanks

I'd suggest starting with the volume knob on the subwoofer set to about half way. If you can't achieve the desired volume by adjusting the output signal on the receiver, then turn up the volume knob on the subwoofer. On the other hand, if you need to set the subwoofer level on the receiver to below 0dB, then I'd suggest decreasing the volume knob on the subwoofer.
