the room everything is in is about 4800cubic feet and i want some opinions on if i should get the svs pb10 or 12 the 12 would be streaching my money out and would take a little longer to get but would it really be worth it to wait maby 3-4 weeks to get it over the pb10

In your case, you should look at a PCi 25-31. You will need the output.

Check their B-stock or shoot them an e-mail. You're going to need at least a 25-31PCi or PB-12. I had the PB-10 in my room which is around that size, and while it had very good response, it wasn't quite enough for a room that big.

It doesn't go as low as the PB-12, but it has more output than either the PB-10 or PB-12, while also costing about $50 less than the PB-12. If you like the box style, go with the PB-12.

You might want to reconsider about the tubes. They actually outperform the boxes by a bit before you get to the PB12+. I'm kind of with you about the looks, even though I've got the 20-39+, but you don't hear/feel how it looks. I've had several people by since I got mine. After they see it, they get interested. Whether they think I'm an idiot or not is another question.
