I have an M&Kgoliath II passive subwoofer which needs a speaker replacement. When I purchased the dual voice coil speaker the tech told me I had to modify the speaker box by installing a port and removing 80% of the filling. This confuses me as the Goliath is a sealed unit and the modification would turn it into a ported unit. Can anyone advise me on this?
