If I only want to spend around 400-600 bucks on a sub are the svs pb10 or 12 the best options. Are the infinity sw12 or csw10 compareable. It seems like the svs' are the way to go. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks

A case can be made that SVS owns that price point for performance, but it's really what application you prefer. Music lovers might prefer the Outlaw or Rocket subs. The Hsu VTF/STF 2 are right there and I think at $750-900 the VTF3 holds it's own with the SVS +s.

I've heard the Infinity subs are very nice and musical and the RABOS feature set maybe of more use to you than sheer extension.

I'll bet this really helped you, huh? :D

At the $600 price point, I'd look at the SVS PB-12 and the HSU STF-3. If you are looking to spend less than that, the PB-10 is a very capable sub as long as you don't have a huge room; same goes for the VTF/STF-2.
