I just bought the other day a klipsch RW10d sub for behind my couch. the problem I have is it doesn't work. no sound at all. it's set to auto on. I also noticed on my bigger sub a Velodyne CT 150 I hardly get any sound from it unless I have the vol. cranked almost to the max. I did the speaker auto set up an the velodyne does hum. these subs are going to a yamaha 6180 any help would be great.

You have done the auto calibration, correct? I would suggest that you go through the setting manually on your yamaha reciever and double check what the YPAO has done to your settings on your receiver. The auto calibration can do some funky things sometimes. Make sure your sub is set to yes and your speakers set to small on your receiver. Makes sure you check what the crossover is set as well. Maybe run the auto configuration setup again and see if that helps at all too. ( I assume you do not have an SPL metre).
