Van Halen in 86, they used spkeakers with 2 or 3 18s and 12s, each spk was about 6'x6'x2' and they were stacked side by side and 2 high on either side of the stage and more suspended in the air above the stage. Standing in front of about 6 of these was awesome, never forget it.
