Hey, I just got a new sub which is PreSonus Temblor t10 and after hooking it with 2 active speakers only one is playing. Do you think it is faulty or there could be some other reason? Connection is audio source>2 RCA inputs on sub>2 TRS outs from sub> into 2RCA on speakers

Please show us a picture of or link to this cable. It sounds like your active speakers each have 2 RCA’s?

There is no picture of the cable at that link, at least none that I can see.

That cable should work fine with the TRS outputs. Have you tried swapping channels to see if the problem is with one of them?

Both cables work with left output on sub but nothing with right. Can cable being unbalanced and outputs balanced make this problem or is it 100% sub fault?

You just proved it isn't the cables, which means most likely something in the sub is damaged.

Ignored speakers and tried playing just sub with only one channel connected. With left all works fine and with right nothing comes out. That sucks considering it's a new one, thanks for help guys.

Double-check your input cables too, as well as the signal source.

Tried from soundcard, dj controller and phone. From soundcard and controller using 2 different cables that worked fine with other equipment.
