sub for spendor 8se

what sub would you recommend for a HT system built around the spendor 8se?

Any advice? Looking to spend less than $1000-1500.

room size is about 2500cubic ft. ideally like 10'' sub or more.

Yes a bit.

My ideal ideal would be between 10 and 12'' woofer, cherry finish, very dynamic and good staging. ok of it can be easily be found used and fall under $1k. Was thinking rel or linn sizkim,... Not sure if velodyne minivee 10 is good enough....
