Hi all,

What size sub would you recommend for a room sized 4m X 3m?

I'll be purchasing one from the range here:

I was thinking perhaps the Gemini 2 or XLS200 (downfiring).

Would the Gemini 2 be sufficient for a room my size?

Thanks.

From what I can tell, that particular sub would be sufficient...... However, it doesn't go particularly deep for HT applications. The XLS300 looks like their least expensive, actually capable device. Unfortunately, the useful details of the 200 aren't available...

HT would be the priority, so if the Gemini didn't go deep enough, that would be a concern.

I'm not really looking for blow the roof off the house kind of bass, just fullness and clarity without localization, if you know what I mean. Would I get that from the Gemini do you think?

The XLS300 would be too heavy to get into the AV Room @25kg.
