Sub connection does not match tuner connection

I have a speaker level connection on my sub. I have a line level connection on my Tuner.

Lets assume I am not getting a new sub or tuner. Is there some way to connect these.

Please keep in mind, I am not experienced in this at all. Lehman's terms, please.

Ah, the old standard receiver line-level LFE output meets a passive sub gambit!

You simply need an amplifier between the two devices.

Now, had this been a powered sub, you would have been all set.

Depending on the sub, it may be worth your while to simply invest in a powered sub rather than look for an amp. What kind of sub is it?
