Hi, I'm searching for a new sub but my options are very limited (I'm in Argentina and not every brand is imported). I have a JBL's N28II and a EC25 as center.
Could you help me buy the best? (price-performance)

JBL SUB-10 U$S485
JBL SUB-12 U$S550
Infinity Primus PS-12 / 212 U$S650
Boston XB4 U$S450
Boston PV900 U$S690
POLK AUDIO PSW404 U$S505
POLK AUDIO PSW505 U$S615
Klipsch Sub-10 Serie Synergy III U$S475
Klipsch Sub-12 Serie Synergy III U$S650

Thanks!!
Gercho.

Price-performance wise none of those really stand out to me.
You might want to check out av123. They make the mfw-15 which is an outstanding sub.
You might be able to get a bit of a break on price since they have a factory in Cali Columbia and you wouldn't have to pay US import duties. Currently it's selling for 700USD plus shipping.
You can either post on their forum or send an email. From what I've read they are very responsive to customer needs.

As I said, very limited

First of all, thank you very much for taking the time to answer me.
The thing is there are several factors that get in the way to bring electonic devices to my country, first electric regulations (we have 220V) so everything that is 110V have trouble to go through Customs. Then I live in a Thrid World country, when you buy things outside (other than books and CDs) you have to live a nightmare at Customs (corruption) and end-up spending more money that what the product is worth.
Because of that I put what I can buy here, and see if someone with experience could tell me which one is the best of them.

Thanks again!

Of those, the Boston 900 or the Klipsch Sub-12 would be my first shots. IMO, most of those 12" subs are pretty comparable and none of them would be a "clear" winner in my book.

Thanks

Thanks J_Garcia, I know that the options I have are comparable, but I have been out of the audio market for many years and don't know if between the options I have there's one that stand out of the rest (like you have in computer hardware from time to time). I'll take your advice an explore the Boston and Klipsch first. Thanks again.

I've found this, it's better?

I was searching if I can find another brand of sub here and run into this:

PHASE TECHNOLOGY FL-8 U$S489

Is it better than the others? It's smaller but maybe it has better Quality.

Thanks!!!

Sub options

Can you get velodyne subs down there?
They are not the cheapest, but they make some great subs.

Velodyne

Thank you guys, I've checked the Velodyne site and they have a distributor here in Argentina, I've sent them an email to check what they have. I'll let you know as soon as they answer me.

Thanks again.

Velodyne

Hi guys, I've talked to the Velodyne representative in Argentina and have the CHT-R series (10" and 12").
I'm going to test them this week. The CHT-10R is U$S575 and the CHT-12R is U$S795. The 12" is a little over my budget (I was thinking in a U$S600 limit) do you think that the 10" would be enough?

Thanks for your help.
