Stupid Question--Any way to convert Component 'Out' to Component 'In'?

Not sure if this question fits here or not, but I wasn't sure where else to put it. I just bought a cheapo home theatre system ($90 canadian  ), and my only qualm is a lack of Component video input ports. It only has 2 A/V 'In' ports (1 is unusable--needed to hook up to a TV), and the rest of the ports are all 'Out' (S-Video, Digital Optical, Component, RF, etc). This means when I use it with any of my game systems or watch a DVD, I have to deal with the horrendus picture from the AV cables (I can't believe I used to use these...). Is it possible to convert the Component 'Out' to 'In', or maybe install a new port? What about Digital Optical? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm a home theatre newbie.

I'd appreciate any help.

Nope, not possible. Call it leson learned, and important information to pass onto friends and family thinking of purchasing a HTIB setup. This is my top complaint with HTIBs. If they just put a couple of component inputs onto all of those packaged systems, at least they would be a bit usable.

If your TV has multiple component inputs, then run video direct from your device to the TV.

What constitutes this system? For $90 Canadian, I don't have good imagination of it:D

The simple answer is no, you cannot convert it. Adding one will cost and even then, it may not be possible as it depends on the design inside. It might be cheaper to buy what you really need, not modify something that is cheap, sorry.
