I’m running Roon on my Mac and am streaming over WiFi through an Exasound Sigma Streamer connected to an E38 DAC. I have my music on an SSD drive connected directly to my TP Link AC 4000 router (through the USB 3.0 port on the back).
Most of the time I have no trouble streaming music. However, once in a while Roon complains that the music isn’t loading fast enough and it starts skipping tracks. Has anyone else faced this? The router is a modern fast router. I’ve got the Mac and the Sigma on the highest priority level.
Any ideas to solve this? Thanks!
