Strange behavior of Denon AVR-X3600 H

Hello,
Apologies in advance for long set-up. I have a 7.2.4 HT with the following components:

Denon AVR-x3600H - main amp driving most speakers
Denon AVR 3801 - old avr I am using to power LCR speakers
Roku Ultra
Samsung DLP (67 inch) - old TV but still works
Harmony One remote

The above set up worked fine for many months with a fairly simply Harmony startup routine (both AVRs turn on, TV turns on, etc.) However, about a month ago, this set up started to be unreliable. When I pressed "Watch TV" on my remote, everything would turn on but I would get a black screen on the TV showing no video signal being received. This situation could be corrected when I powered off the x3600H main zone (main power) then the 2nd zone, the powered both back on sequentially. ( I don't need to touch the 3801 which powers the LCRs.) This has gradually gotten worse to where now it happens nearly 100% of the time.
I'm not sure what changed (firmware update on x3600H?) but currently I can't start the system without going through this routine. Also, I don't see a way to program this on/off sequence in Harmony as the startup activities doesn't allow this as far as I can tell.

Finally, I'll add that my system has started doing something else recently ...about 10% of the time the on-screen graphics don't appear so that when I do something like adjust the volume I can't see the level on the TV screen. This is a new annoyance that is fixed when I power the receiver on and off. It may be unrelated, or a sign that my receiver is having more issues.

Any thoughts on this odd behavior?

Thanks in advance for any help
