Hello. I have connected my pc to the receiver and i am trying to get dolby. My problem started when i connected my audigy through the spdif to the coaxial for dvd in my receiver. I get sound but it stops for a few seconds and then continue while i get a unlock msg. i also see a pcm 48 on the led screen. I read somewhere that its a common problem with dvd players and all you have to do is change some setting to stream it.
Any idea how i can fix this problem with my pc/hts connection?
P.S when i had the pc connected through a single jack to 2 rca in whatever port(dvd/video2 etc) i got sound normaly but it wasnt surround. I also tried 3 separate cables from my soundcard to the multichan ports ont he receiver but still i got analog sound no sw etc.
I am trying various configurations for a long time now and i am starting to get frustrated.
Oh on a last note i am relative new to sound so it could be something simple. Any ideas at all are apreciated.
