How is it that a thread hasn't yet been started on this film?

I really enjoyed this film.

A little way into it I thought "hmm", as I considered some of the acting a little sloppy. However, as the film progressed I found the light-heartedness and daft humour of the film more and more enjoyable so that by the end I would say that overall I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A good portion of the film was shot in Scotland, on Skye and the west coast. Very familiar territory to me.

Well, as much I as I enjoyed the film, I will say that the book is much better. Neil Gaiman's novel is simply breathtaking. The film is a little inconsistent, trying to do a little bit of everything, and not quite making it.

And to those De Niro fans out there . . . hoo boy, I don't know how you'll feel about this!

Anyone who loved the Princess Bride will also like Stardust. Extremely enjoyable.
